    If you’re playing the piano, the notes on the treble clef (the staff on the first line) are the right hand. The notes below on the bass clef are for the left hand. There are plenty of Internet sites that explain this.

    You don’t, by the way, “know the basics” or you would be asking this question. If you’re serious about wanting to learn to play the piano, or any other instrument, at least get some preliminary instruction.

    I think u mean piano so troubleclef is right or the upper bar and the lower bar or base clef is left.
    I no dont want a teacher but they help a lot. even if its only a few lessons. My advice si have a friend or teacher teach u the basics and practice. Then mabye a few months later ask them again to see wat u r doing right or wrong.
